Hi SDNers,

Just bought a CDP and I have a question for you all.

Am I the only one who found "Hole Punching", "Cube Counting" exceptionally harder than any other prep book? The whole time taking the exam.. I was like WOW WOW

Is CDP a good representation of the actual test in terms of difficulty?

Thanks,

your just new to it. They are the easiest part of the whole PAT. Of course there are illusions in cube counting, which wont be on the real DAT. CDP is a must.

I had a couple of illusions on my exam... but CDP is an excellent program for practice and to learn from of course..

Hole punching/angle ranking are completely different than the usual testing. The others are the same. CDP has illusions on cube counting, you wont see that on your actual test. Angle ranking again is extremely difficult to tell sometimes, so keep working on that. as for hole punching, the real test is a little easier but i found it helpful to create a 4x4 box on the corner of your graph paper, and trace the hole's that way, unless ofcource the question is really easy. good luck!

I also just got CDP to boost my PAT score, a section that I did particularly poorly in. The punches, and the folds seem a lot more complicated than anything I practiced the first time around/remember encountering on the actual test. But obviously I probably wasn't studying for this section correctly the first time around.

However, The angle ranking is similar to what I remember encountering on the actual test. Last time around I only used Kaplan materials, with the online practice tests and the angle ranking was way easier than what was actually on the DAT.
