I have searched the forum for Crack DAT reading and it seems consensus is that it is similar to real DAT, but CDR contains far more tone questions. I also have topscore and achiever (7 tests) as practice tests, but was wondering which version 5 or 10 test of CDR is better? Is CDR worth the money overall if I have those other resources? Lastly, is the Reading Section for the Kaplan Online course any good? Test is in a few weeks and I havent practiced RC at all. Thank you for your help and time!

Just purchase the 5 test version if your test date is coming coon.

I thought the format of CDR was quite similar, but I found the relevance of some of the passages to be irrelevant. Now is this a deal breaker, no. It's for good for timing and learning the interface and format of the actual test. The passages are much longer on CDR, and some of the questions can be answered via S&D & with just actual reading(popular with inference and tone Q's). My actual score and my CDR scores were properly estimated, but then again I only prepared for the RC in just 2 days.

PS: The scroll wheel at my testing center did not work, use the up/down keys to navigate.
