Crack PAT vs. Real DAT!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I've been averaging a solid 18 and on a good day 19-20 on the practice Crack PAT ? How is it compared to the real DAT? anybody HELP??

It is comparable except for keyholes and pattern folding in my opinion. I was getting 20, 21, 22 on the majority of the tests and I got an 18 on the real thing. Pretty devastating. Topscore PAT is closer in my opinion.

Topscore was good too.

and also I think it matches up well more than CDP as far as visual quality is concerned. CDP has way better visual quality in my opinion.

My numbers were very close, but I didn't think that the material shown on CDP was very similar to that on the actual DAT. So, I guess it's a little difficult to answer that question.. Check out my breakdown below for more.

Good luck!

I averaged 21 on my CDP tests and got 21 on the real thing! I do have to say definitely cube counting/hole punching are a JOKE on the real thing angles are pretty much the same pattern a little bit easier (on my test at least), keyholes harder than CDP

same here- i scored close to my cdp average on the real dat, but the keyholes and pattern folding were definitely different. Still, even though the two tests were very different somehow I still felt prepared by the cdp.I think a lot of the practicing for pat is pacing yourself and getting comfortable in order to maximize the use of your natural perceptual ability.
