hey guys,

i'm thinking about renewing my license for the royal flush edition of crack pat. do you guys know if they upgraded anything or changed anything around from last year?

They are complete @sses about their policy. Even though they say that it works for life, they lie. They want you to pay a "fee" of around $80 for them to just renew your id.

Ah. If you haven't, talk to support. I know some report otherwise, but they've been good to me back in the day. As long as they don't think you're scamming for another copy, they might accommodate you.

I updated mine for fun just now. They've tinkered with the interface a little. I'm not sure about the changes to the guts though.

They've were really helpful as I renewed and upgraded recently. I had to pay a little if I just wanted to renew but they offered me an awesome deal to upgrade and expedited my order so I could use it that next day. Pretty reasonable I thought.

This is an unfair policy. It isn't fair for those people that legitimately paid for the product and had the misfortune with their computer crashing. Its just isn't right to make them pay again. Aren't they getting enough money from people already? I know they're doing this to make it difficult for people to share their account with others that did not pay for their service. But they're going a bit overboard. It's not like you're getting top notch best of the crop service here. Their animated solutions suck beyond belief! It's true they're the "best" out there, but that doesn't give them the right to abuse their service like this.

Their tests haven't changed or have been updated. You may want to use your money and get new tests from like topscore or other DAT preps out there.

I agree. When I tried to get my key because my computer crashed, they said that they wanted to charge me to update the key. I don't understand how it is a lifetime subscription when they want more money for it. Also, they updated their terms recently so that they could charge you for what you are suppose to own.

Those greedy bastards!! It's sick how much they're charging for this product with this lousy service they call "lifetime subscription". I really feel bad for you man. You guys who are out there thinking of getting this, you should think otherwise and look elsewhere for DAT prep. Their product is not all good. Their science section is terrible (good god! it's the worst out there), reading has too many opinion questions, math is too easy compared to the real thing, and their PAT, well that's the only okay section they have. Guys, save your money and buy a better product. I regret the day buying it.
