So i just saw this new software on crack dat's site. does anyone know anything about it? how good it is, etc? It's $70 and I was thinking about getting it, but wanted to know from people who have heard about it/used it first.

Thanks.

It's new. Must be good...I mean I learned a lot from Crack DAT PAT and Crack Math is good too people say...so this should help too...i would have bought it now but my Test is tomorrow and it's too late to buy 😛 so yea

I'm curious too...

Btw you cant compare cdp and cdm to cdr because they are all different products.

Luck: It doesn't matter how many people tell you not to get it, the temptation of buying this magical program is still there, ONLY because you haven't seen it and used it. Just go ahead and get it, you'll be thrill!:scared:

They ask alot of tone questions. That will skew the score a little. However, on my dat there were quite a few tone questions so it is good practice. I would use Top Score or Achiever to get a good idea of what the real reading tests are like. Use CDR to find strategies that you are comfortable with and work for you. Take a look at my blog. It compares the top score and Achiever scores with the real dat. I only took 2 full CDR my scores were in the 17 range. The others I used section by section to find a strategy.

Save your money. I took the DAT this past August. I got a 22 for RC, which was my highest score out of everything else. I did NOTHING to prepare for that section. I didn't read any scientific article or practice any reading section from Top Score. I would briefly skim through the passages, write a word or two for each paragraph and looked at the questions and then searched for the answer.

which is better topscore or achiever. do they both provide lots of full length exams...is one more similar to the actual dat than the other?

If you look at my breakdown you can see that for the reading section I scored 19-21 on both achiever and top score and on the real thing I scored a 20. Not much of a difference but overall top score is a much better indicator of what your overall score is going to be.

Top score = 3 full length test

Achiever = 3 full length test or 5 full length test

my bad😕 Old post 😛

How was the length of CDR passages compared to real DAT? Would real DAT reading harder or easier than CDR? It is to my concern. I am not very good at reading for CDR and so wonder. Finally, are all passages science based? Thanks

Its not representative. I mean my last CDR i took was a 21. And i got a 17 today. But then again my passages had physics calculations. Whatever you do, FORGET ABOUT that search and destroy junk. YOU HAVE TO READ. NO WAY AROUND IT.
