Crack the DAT Science? / recent DAT scores?

Hello everyone,


Anyone have any input on the value of the crack the dat science review that comes in their most expensive package? Is it worth it? Too easy? Too hard?


Secondly, what are the new DAT averages for the average matriculant? Ive noticed a huge number of very high scores not only on these forums but also on predents. Is the new average in the low 20s? Just going off of the averages posted on predents, it seems that those without at 21 overall arent going to fair too well. Any thoughts?

i just took the DAT on the 9th and did pretty well......i used the destroyer and top score...but found out afterwards that crack the dat is incredible for QR and PAT.......
I hear that they are much harder than the test so those sections seem easy when you take it.....(that was not my experience for QR tho)......

the AA is a little lower than im seeing around (which is upsetting....id like to have seen a 20 or 21 there)....but i dont think my scores are too bad and I can prolly get in with them......thats where i stand

I have crack dat science as part of a bundle package and I've done 3 natural science tests. I suppose if you want extra practice get it, but I wouldn't say it's worth the money because you can get good scores without it.

Crack the PAT is really the only one worth getting. The science portion has too many questions that would not appear on the DAT (advanced anatomy/physiology, etc). I think on natural sciences you don't want to waste your time studying unneeded information. The subjects are already vast enough.

I was scoring ~25 on Crack DAT Math and got creamed on the real QR section because Crack DAT Math did not properly prepare me. There were many question types it did not cover or did not teach at the same difficulty level.

Crack PAT on the other hand was great. I only did 7 of the tests and got a 25 on the real thing (which was easier).
