hey guys,

i just took my first crack the pat test and got a 21. for those of you who have purchased crack the pat and have taken the dat, how did you do on crack the pat vs the real thing? do you think i can correlate my crack the pat score with the real dat? thanks for your feedback!

i usually get 20s i have heard that you are pretty set for the real thing. I took the real thing last year and it didn't seem that the perceptual sections was that bad. The angles on know are around 2-5 degrees apart in crack the pat and I don't believe they are that close on the actual thing.

do you mind me asking what you got on crack the pat and on the real thing? thanks 😀

last year when i took the DAT i did not have crack the pat. all i had was topscore, barrons, kaplan, and some material online. I wasn't very good at the perceptual to start out but i practiced and made improvements. I made a 19 on the real PAT section. This year when i started studying I noticed the PAT was coming more natural. I did topscore etc. and could score around a 24. When i did my first crack the pat test I scored an 18. Now I can score consistent 20s. Having already taken the DAT and reading peoples past experiences lends me to believe that crack the pat is harder than the actual dat.

crack the pat's hole punching section is much tougher than the dat.

Crack the PAT is definitely tougher...it is a great study tool and after my pathetic 14 on my first DAT, I'm more confident and I think I'll do much better on monday

hey... i actually just purchased crack the pat this week because everyone was talking so highly of it. I bought 3 full length exams and got 18 on all 3 of them. I personally found them muchhh harder than topscore and kaplan. I think its a good comparison to the actual dat. I used to score anywhere from 19-22 last year on topscore and kaplan and i only got a 17 on the real thing. So I feel like with your 20 in crack that pat, you should be in good shape. how have you done on topscore? I'm taking the exam in a few days so i'll let you know how i scored this time around in comparison to my crack the pat 18's.

I scored a 19 on topscore...i guess i'm glad i purchased crack the pat so that i know what to expect on the test. good luck with your test and let me know how the pat section goes! 🙂
