For current academic doctors working in the craniofacial/neck area (DDS/DMD, MD/DO), what kind of research do you do? Oncology? Trauma? Anything else?

I just finished up a research scholarship at my school, I studied craniofacial development during embryogenesis in a mouse model. It is a very interesting area!

Did you publish an papers? If so, where can I find them?

I worked as an NP in a craniofacial program for a while and we did research on mandibular distraction, various syndromes i.e. Aperts, Crouzon's etc...Basic science research focused on signal transduction within the calverial sutures... as some examples.. Fun work.
