"DR. Heinrich at UMDNJ says that an invitation for an interview was sent to you on Januray 3. So, take it from there. Check with them to make sure that communication did not break down." - my adviser....

Apparently they used the wrong email address along with several other schools. Good news is they gave me an interview February 8th .. bad news is that the class is filled. They said they would give me fair consdieration whatever that means. Call your schools people no matter how mean the admissions office people seem.....

the class was filled before jan 3rd, so i dont think you're at any more disadvantage at njms.

i had the same email thing happen to me -- they asked me to come for a 2nd interview to clarify some things, but they emailed it to my secondary email account (which i dont use and cant believe i actually listed as an alternative) and then called me 3 weeks after i never responded. so my file was basically frozen for 7 weeks without coming before the adcom and i JUST interviewed with them now. it was a big mess, so i feel your pain. but in the end, they were very reassuring and accommodating.
