If you could take any medical school and move it to any city you want, what would you choose?

I'd take Mayo in southern california

jesus you don't have to make it so analytical. you can always argue nothing is perfect, but it could be ideal in terms of your taste.

but yes, a defrosted mayo would be "perfect".

I'd take all the girls in the Victoria secret catalog and admit them to perfect med school, put the school on the beach in socal (where our classes occur), and make tuition -$300,000 (since they pay me to attend for publicity sake).

I'd then base the curriculum entirely around physical anatomy, and emphasize that in order to properly learn said anatomy, physical discovery and teamwork with our classmates must be a priority. Since the classroom is on the beach...well you get the idea....

i've thought multiple times though that if Hopkins were only in Seattle, it would be perfect perfect perfect (for me, I know that Seattle isn't for everyone, but it's just so damn green and alive and vibrant, even in the winter)

People who havent lived in santa fe never realize this, it snows in santa fe, which is at an elevation of 8000ft and it gets f*cking freezing in the winter. The sun does help, its sunny 300 days a year... so if that's your idea of perfect, then awesome, move it there.

I guess you dont mind that 270 coridor, but I actually prefer dying at the hands of others while walking in bmore to dying from self inflicted traffic suicide.

270 to bethesda or rockvile when the traffic is good is like 15 min ride. When its bad just go on 355 and its a 20min ride. Bmore is just not my favorite place, I'm really horrified by the ghetto. One time I drove through it and saw 2 dead guys laying on the ground shot down by a drive by bullet.

While I hear that Mayo doesn't freeze very well, I guess it will have to do.

I would move it to Hawaii though, IMHO. Then you would REALLY see some "Mayo-obsession" going on over in the school forum...
