Hey everyone, I am applying this cycle and first thing is I have to create an account! Of course, I already have my DENTPIN.

Where it says select school, there is an error when I click to add what school I go to:

"An error was encountered while processing your request.
Please try back in a little while, and contact ADEA AADSAS support if the problem persists. We apologize for the inconvenience."

Anyone having the same issue?

This may be a very silly question, but it also asks for School Address. Are they referring to the address of the college I attend or my personal address where I live when I attend college?

Many thanks in advance guys.

I'd just give it a rest until the morning. If it isn't working then, call AADSAS.

For the school address, what is the question in context? Is it prefaced by a question that says, "where do you go to school?" Or is it just prefaced by general questions about your personal information?

After I give my name, it says "select school." There, I cannot select the school and I get the error message.

Right below it, it says "School Address." Here's a screenshot just for the hell of it.

Uhh... Why does it say create new "ADVISOR ACCOUNT"? You said you're applying right? Shouldn't it be like.. create a new applicant account?

I just tried.. and I think AADSAS is screwed up atm in terms of creating a new account. You might wanna call them.

Yeah, I saw the "ADVISOR ACCOUNT" heading.

https://portal.aadsasweb.org/

I don't have an account to start the application, so I clicked "create new account" on the left side of the page. Can someone direct me to the right place so I can get started?

That's where I clicked to create one.. I think that they screwed up the links. Call them and ask them about it tomorrow.

If you think that the simplest part of the application would be at all straight-forward,

Issue still not resolved. Any input from anyone else out there? I'm going to call tomorrow... 😡

Press back, refresh the page, then click create a new account again. If it doesn't work then press back, refresh the page, then click create a new account again until you get a page that looks like this.

AADSAS keeps switching between asking me to create an applicant account and an advisor account whenever I refresh and press create a new account. Usually it switches every time I press refresh, but sometimes it keeps asking me to create one type of account but it will inevitably switch at some point if I keep refreshing or just close the tab and open a new one.

I did get to that page, filled it out, and when I clicked the "save" button on the bottom, it then took me to the "ADVISING APPLICATION" form...

Yeah, the same thing happened to me, and I had to refresh the page. I actually called the AADSAS support line and talked to a person who told me to do this, so they know a fix, but he didn't acknowledge any problem...and clearly there's a problem.

Just registered my account. Worked perfectly fine with no glitches for me. Not planning on submitting yet so was waiting to register.

Almost every time I click the "Create New Account" link, I see the adviser account creation page with the non-functioning "Select School" box. However, most of the time when I refresh that page it turns into the student applicant page.

On the first day I actually unwittingly submitted an adviser account application, and I waited a week for the promised acknowledgement. I called AADSAS when that didn't come, and got the guy who told me to refresh the page. I'm actually surprised this isn't bothering more people.

You don't select any school, because that's the adviser account creation page. You hit refresh until you get a form that doesn't ask for the school, then hope you can submit. That's what worked for a few of us anyway.
