Creating pH levels in lab?

I don't know if this is the forum to ask this, but I need to create different pH levels using 0.5 N NaOH (pH from 8-14) in the lab tomorrow

I need to do same thing with concentrated HCl to create pH 1-6

How can I most feasibly do that in the lab ?
