Credentialing question

I'm getting credentialed at this new place and they are asking for CMS Medicaid / Medicare and CAQH username and password.. Is this typical? I've gone through credentialing in the past but never been asked to provide my actual username and password for them to access my information like this.

I've been asked this, but at a minority of the places I worked.

Me too. The credentialler should be able to walk you through it and handle all the details as your designee, if I remember right.

Vituity? Their credentialing department is amateur hour. I had to fill out many of the forms with information myself. At least Envision pre-populates most of the forms so all I have to do is sign.
