Credit hours for a 4-unit UCLA extension course?

I'm looking at my UCLA Extension transcript and all I see are units, not hours. Would anyone here happen to know what the 4 units would translate into?

Straight from UCLA Extension website, "academic credit is measured in quarter units, reckoned at 8.33 hours of contact instruction per unit."

Okay I know this is an old thread but a general FYI : ucla credits are 0.666 of a semester unit /credit. I really wish I had known this, because I had to retake general chemistry AFTER biochem because I came in just shy of 3 credits for Gen chem 1. Just a PSA. 🙂
