My preview score came back recently and I scored a 4. I'm disappointed cuz I thought I did well and I got a 4 on casper too. Tough break. I'm mainly concerned cuz I applied to UCLA and Kaiser, and as a CA resident I really wanna go to these schools. How important is preview for those 2 schools?

They both require the exam to review your application. They are responsible for sharing how they intend to use those scores in your review (to decide to invite to interview, to decide offers, to prioritize waitlist position are most common).

I don't know about Kaiser because I took PREview late enough that my application wasn't complete there until September, so I don't know if maybe my rejection there was more timing-related or because of my PREview score more explicitly... or just because they saw my profile and it didn't fit them. The mysteries of life.

I received an interview at UCLA prior to submitting a PREview score around this time last year, and was later admitted with a 4. So at least you know it is not prohibitive.

If @aceiling is still around, maybe she can give you some insight around KPSOM.

Gotcha thanks! I was thinking about if I should retake a 4 on the Preview. I scored top quartile on the Casper, so it seems a bit arbitrary. Seems like it likely won't make / break an application
