I'm already having such a complicated time with this--my grad program is in quarter system and my undergrad is in semesters. 🙄

For the last 30 Credit Hours GPA calculation (I'm doing this for Wisconsin), 6 of my credits are credit/no credit courses. Do I exclude those? What do I do with those classes?

Edit: I found this which isn't helping
Fall 2010 course work will not be used in the last 30 semester credits (44.77 quarter credits) in the grade point average calculation. Do not include graduate research credits in the calculation.
Who takes .77 credits?

To calculate my last 30 credit hours for Wisconsin I did it in an excel spreadsheet, and converted all my quarter hours into semester hours, so you could total them easily. (I too had both quarter and semester). Once you're multiplying each number of credits by .66, you'll start getting weird decimals for your number of credits!

I've heard you shouldn't count pass/fail or credit/no credit into gpas, and should just leave our those classes, but maybe someone else can point you to actual text to confirm that.

Question about the last 30 credits -- should your calculations include all classes in the semester in which your 30th credit was attained? For example, I took 19 credits each in Spring 2010 and Fall 2009, adding up to 38 credits. Do I stop at an arbitrary 30th credit class, or should I count all the way up to credit #38? Ahh! *confused*

I think you pick which classes you want from the last semester--feel free to pick classes that you did the best in!

And now I'm calculating pre-reqs for another school, which requires a 3 credit stats class. My 4 quarter credit stats class is considered 2.67 credits of stats. I am not taking another stats class for a .33 credits! Gah I hate the quarter system.

I saw that, Tonkamoo, but it doesn't address pass/fail or credit/no credit classes.

I turned it in anyway so hopefully my calculations aren't horrible...
