what are my chances to get in if i'm on an alternate position at creighton? they gave me 2 weeks to notify if i'm interested in being in that alternate position, but does it mean then if they do accept me i HAVE to attend, no matter if i had an acceptance from somewhere else (which i haven't as of yet).

Thanks!

The chances of getting accepted depends on many factors therefore anybody on this forum probably can't give you anything concrete. As for what it means to accept the alternate status, it's nothing more then a notification to the school informing them you are still interested in being a canidate to Creighton. If in the event you are selected you will have the same opportunity you would have had, if you were excepted on December 1st. Minus the time, you will probably only have a day or so to accept the accepatance. You are by no means obligated to take the seat they offer.

is it possible to defer the admission if you are accepted off the alternate list late?

I highly doubt it, but I don't know. I'ver never heard of Creighton offering seats to previous year applicants. But the truth be known, I don't have that much of a history with Creighton to know for sure.
