I noticed that there wasn't a thread for Creighton campus pathway this year, so here it is 😀
Has anyone received interviews or any other updates from them?
I got invited today!!
I submitted mine on Nov 1st and I got an email from Creighton that they had my app on this Monday.
I am excited. Has anyone had an interview yet?
I need some tips!
The interview is really low key and they really just want to know who you are as a person. As long as you let your personality shine through, you will do great! For extra practice use the SDN interview feedback.
For anyone else who had an interview today:: pros and cons of Creighton???
Wow, do people who (want to) go to Creighton just avoid this forum? 🙁
I don't think the forum says anything about the quality of school. I liked Creighton better than Midwestern, which I know you are also looking at. If you need comparisons, see the Midwestern forum where I gave them to you. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
Anyone interviewed on Jan 17 heard anything yet? Thanks
Thanks! Did you get an email or they call you?Yup. I'm an alternate candidate...

I had mine last Friday. One of the most laid back interviews I've had. Everyone is super friendly, proud of their school and want you there next year. At some points I thought I was interviewing them haha... But make sure to brush up on what you wrote about in your supplemental- they do ask a question about your ignation value (although its not in the actual interview). Overall I was very impressed. If you have any other questions, just let me know!I have an interview with Creighton campus pathway on March 16! Does anyone have any advice?
Hey i just got accepted yesterday by mail. Does anyone know which part of omaha is the best place to live? especially if you're going to be busy with pharmacy school. I want to live close enough to all my classes.
Hello!Who is actually going to Creighton? and why did you chose it? I was accepted in December and have held my spot in the class. I was very impressed with the school on interview day. Out of all three of my interviews (Creighton, UMKC, and Univ of Iowa) Creighton did the best job of showcasing their program, the faculty/staff, and the personality of the school. However, if I am accepted to Univ. of Iowa it will be a tough decision between the two, so I would like to hear reasons why people have chose Creighton (or reasons why people will not choose CU) just to add to my ever expanding pro-con list!
Good Luck to all of you still applying 🙂!
And for those interested in acceptance stats
3.2 GPA from a University
B.S. in Biology (May 2011)
74 Composite PCAT
6 months pharmacy experience
Lots of extracurriculars/community service during undergrad
Considering I don't have any spectacular stats, I can say they look at you as a person, not at your stats.
Hello!
I saw your post and am very interested in what decision you have come up with. I too am in the same kind of situation. I really like Creighton's program, but I am having a hard time deciding between it and KU. I agree with your statements about Creighton doing the best of showcasing their program, but it's setting is not what I am use to. I applied to both KU and the University of Iowa, but ruled out Iowa due to the fact that it is too far away from my home. After seeing both I feel like KU and UI are similar programs, so again I was just curious as to what points you have come up with for either school in your decision process. Thank you for your help!

Anyone interview on march 30 and hear back from them?
The long waiting game 🙁 I was hoping to hear from them sooner..
I interviewed on March 30 and I received my acceptance letter this weekend. It was dated 4/24 and postmarked 4/25.
Congrats! did you receive an email telling you to go to applicationstation.com and release/pay for a background check? I got one of those last week and i'm not sure if thats an indication of being accepted or not
🙂 I received my acceptance letter this weekend as well 🙂
Now it's just a decision between two schools that is killing me. Does Creighton give us a financial aid award letter? And do most students live on campus or off campus?
I was one of the last one to be interviewed for the campus pathway. A month ago I was informed that I made the waiting/alternate list. Last week they called me saying that I have been accepted.
congrats! I was also on the waitlist since around the end of January, until earlier today when they called to tell me I was accepted. Did they also tell you that we have about a week to accept or decline?
Congrats! Yes, they told me I have a week to make my decision. I've already made my deposit and turn in all my forms for Creighton. I just have to finish my summer class and I will be good to go!
That's awesome. Creighton is one of my top choices, and I've already been accepted to the other (Midwestern Chicago), so its gonna be an interesting decision.
Just curious... how 'heavy' is the necessary paperwork for Creighton admission? Besides turning in final transcripts, and signing a matriculation agreement, is there much else? I'm worried about missing deadlines...
It didn't seem heavy at all. I was told to pay my deposit and mail in was prerequisite completion agreement and technical standard form. Be sure that you're up to date with your vaccination. I had to get my vaccination shots today to be updated.
Oh, ok thanks. Seems manageable enough.
I was actually in the process of completing the health requirements for Midwestern, which included a physical examination form, a TB test, and vaccination form. For Creighton, do you know if we need to turn in any vaccination verification form?
Creighton requires you to turn in a form with all the require vaccination and lab test (Hep B, Varciella and TB) with the approval of an physician before school starts in August.
I see... well hopefully the tests taken for Midwestern can simply be sent to a new address 😀
One last question... since you got accepted late, how are you handling housing (assuming you plan on living off-campus)? Is it just calling different places at this point and asking for availability?
I will be living off-campus. I think that's the best way to find a place. I will be going up there this weekend to find an house or apartment!
