Will be having an interview at Creighton Dental soon. I just got quick question. I am supposed to leave my hotel and be at the Eppley airport by 5:45AM on Saturday. I just want to ask if anyone knows if I can hail a taxi or car service around 3AM b/c my hotel shuttle only operates from 7:00-23:00. I am from NYC and just do not know if Omaha operates the same way that NYC does.

yea you'll have plenty of time. Eppley airport is pretty small and you won't even have trouble checking in. From your hotel to the airport will probably be less than 15 mins. You can drive there, check in and be at your terminal in 30 minutes. Taxis are easy to get. Good luck!

Thanks for replying back. So you mean I can hail a taxi around 3AM?

Depends on where you're staying, and if your hotel has taxis waiting outside to bring people to the airport

If you are asking if you can just walk onto the street, expect to find a taxi, then no. Omaha is a pretty big city in Nebraska, but not large enough to have taxis driving around at wee-hours of the night (like NYC)

I would recommend calling ahead to taxi services and arrange for a taxi to pick you up at your hotel

I'm staying at the Best Western Seville Plaza hotel and the hotel has a free shuttle from 7AM-10PM. I'm planning to leave around 3AM to get a ride to the airport because I leave around 5:45 AM. I will speak with the hotel to arrange something to give me a ride to airport. Do you think that's a good idea?

Hey, since you plan on leaving at 3 and you leave at 545, you'll be ok. Best Western will have plenty of numbers to call taxis. They obviously know ppl are traveling and have a list of contacts for you. Best Western is a great location. 10 min walking to the dental school and about 10 mins from the airport. Don't worry you'll be fine. When you first check in just ask for some numbers to call taxis. The guy above is right, we don't have many taxis driving around that time but there are still several and you won't be stranded.

my interview at Creighton went alright (I think?). Check SDN interview feedback page for interview preparation. Everything I learn from there was on par with the actual interview. Good Luck!👍
