This question is a little too broad to answer. I'll try a little.
For me Creighton's greatest strength it its student body. We are a cohesive school. We help each other out, and even people who would not be friends in "real life" are friends.
The faculty is great with one or two exceptions. Research is present, but not in great quantities. There are funded opportunities in the summer, though, for those who wish to get paid. I don't know how to analyze the curriculum, since I have not experienced any other. The first year is more traditional bases--biochem, molecular and cellular biology, host defense. The second year is more organ based.
Omaha is OK. No it is a wild, crazy city but it is very livable and the cost of living is very low. Population is around 700,000 which means that it has a the feel of a midsized city, but you don't have to drive far to get to corn fields. I am happy here, personally.
I agree that the Creighton neighborhood is not the best, but I don't spend that much time on Campus outside of class. I think that the neighborhood is really on a factor if you want to live within walking distance. That said, there are apartments nearby that are fine.
Yogi's hosting story is atypical. Those that host ususally are responsible for picking up at the airport, getting the student to the interview, and making sure that they make it back to the airport. I don't know what happened in Yogi's case.
