Creighton
Pros
-Quizzes/exams on Fridays
-Seemed more collaborative than Cincinnati on interview day
-Closer to home (but still far)
Cons
-More expensive (~30k more per year if I don't get any scholarships, which I won't know by the time I have to make a decision)
-Cannot seem to find out Creighton's ranking; assuming Cincinnati is higher ranked, though, simply based on the amount of research money Cincinnati brings in
Cincinnati
Pros
-Cheaper
-Visited during Second Look a couple months ago and really loved the campus and meeting the faculty
-More/better opportunities for research
Cons
-Not true P/F; ranking system--students at Second Look acknowledged this makes the environment competitive at times and not as collaborative as they'd like
-Quizzes/exams always on Mondays (sometimes every monday and, at other times, biweekly); seems easy to burnout
-Farther from home
Note: curriculum at both schools seem comparable. Both do organ block style instruction and stream their lectures so that attendance does not have to be mandatory. Both tend to have exams/quizzes once every couple of weeks.
