Yes for those of you that got the pre-dental invites when did you get them? Was it via email or snail mail? Thanks!

Has anyone been accepted for the Pre Med track?

I'm actually from the surrounding area. Yourself?

Anyone else from the Lincoln/Omaha area who have heard good news from Creighton?
Arkansas. Never even been to Nebraska before.

I was accepted for pre-med as well. Have you guys heard anything from the, since accepting?

I’m not sure what’s going on with this radio silence from their office

My roommate and I used apartment.com for our place. The apt is 2 min away from the Creighton Uni. Hope this helps!

Calling them would be your best way to get a hold of them.

Are any of y’all from Omaha? Is the area around the campus safe, or should I be looking for something farther away? I’m moving from TX

No nothing yet, I was hoping to get like a preliminary schedule or something since we’re less than a month out

The schedule should be on your NEST account. You can DM me if you have any questions.

PM me if you have questions I will try to answer or direct you to someone who will.

Hey guys, I made a facebook group for the accepted pre-meds. I can’t post links for some reason but feel free to pm me for the link or just look up “Creighton Postbacc Pre-medical 2018-2019” on facebook and I’ll add you

Honestly, I don't think we got a class schedule until during orientation. It should be online on NEST soon if not the program website should give you an idea. You don't have to worry about registering for classes because they do it for you every semester you are here. I would recommend focusing on the financial part ( ie if you are taking out loans start working on that) and housing for now. From my experience you won't here much now until closer to orientation. If you all have specific questions about the program you should definitely contact Larissa or Mervin. I can answer questions about housing, etc from a student point of view.

Yeah I guess I was just expecting an email giving me my net ID/ info on how to set up my email etc. basic welcome to our school stuff. I didn’t get any of that until i called someone in the financial aid office

I cannot remember now when that information came but if you have anymore questions I would say reach out Larissa or Mervin and they will direct you somewhere else if necessary. Most of our contact is with the program we don't really do much with other offices except for financial aid and even that you will get an email from Larissa about how to do FAFSA and the contact person in financial aid for our program. Larissa will continue to email you through your personal email that you got info through about interview and admission. You aren't missing anything as far as info from professors etc. During orientation you will meet some of them, get IDs, IT will also be available, etc. Unless things have changed all your professors will come to you for class so you aren't going anywhere and books provided. Let I said I would focus on getting ready to move here. Come a few days early if you can so you can have thing to get situated so that you can hit the ground running when school starts.

FYI: Each year (at least for the fast few years) every class create video so google something like Creighton post-bac and you will probably find some on you tube, I know the one from 2017-2018 was on you tube which I viewed to get a little insight.

@fun_me are you medical? If so, if you think facebook would be better then you could send the link for me to join so I can answer questions from there. I know my friend on the dental side created facebook group for the incoming dental students to ask questions a little while back.
