Creighton
Pros
  • Students seem to be very supported by faculty
  • Emphasis on student well-being
  • Strong match list
  • Early clinical experience
  • Lower cost of living
  • More diverse city
  • Great leadership/volunteer opportunities
  • Jesuit "Cura Personalis"

Cons
  • Unranked school, but definitely lower than CU
  • Much more expensive
  • Potentially less research
  • More religious, and I am a queer woman

CU
Pros
  • Close to home
  • In-state tuition
  • Ranked very high
  • Great match list
  • More research opportunities
  • Less religious

Cons
  • Curriculum more stressful
  • More competitive vs collaborative from what it sounds like
  • Higher cost of living
  • Staff seem less accessible
  • More required study session (Reddit, 2021)

Let me know if I forgot something

Strictly comparing schools, Colorado due to in-state tuition and more prestige. But, it seems like you vibe more with the culture/atmosphere at Creighton.

What are your career interests/goals? The new curriculum that Colorado is rolling out provides plenty of opportunities to tailor your education for your future career. I'm not as familiar with Creighton's curriculum.
