I's a Jesuit institution ... meanng higher chances to get in if you are a Catholic or a new convert.

Applicants whose faith has been blacklisted by Vatican especially the Seventh-day Adventists will stand at the worse chance of getting in... and I'm certainly serious about that.

It is a Jesuit Institution along with Marquette. Not sure if the second is true.

I hear waitlist is about 200 and barely moves. Given the number of posters on the waitlist, it may be higher. Count me in also.

Creighton, as a private religious institution, has the right to do what you claim. However, like many religious institutions, they choose not to discriminate on any level, including religion. Whether you are Catholic, Jewish, a Seventh Day Adventist, or whatever, makes no difference.

sorry to interupt everyone's religious dicussion but I just wanted to add that people have been rejected from creighton...not everyone makes the wait list....i have no idea what anyone's chances are of getting in off this list (me included), but not everyone makes it....so i guess we should be happy about that....

this is true, i heard they put about 200 on their waitlist. Compare this to excepting about 80 and the total number of people who applied is somewhere in the neighborhood of 2500 to 3000. So yes, people do get rejected.

does creighton seriously have no interview??
how does creighton know an applicants religious affiliation?? do most people mention it on their AADSAS??

Yes it is true that Creighton does not have interviews. I'm a little ticked off because my stats are way above their average and I still got put on the wait list. I have a 4.0 GPA and my DAT scores are 24/25/19 AA/TS/PAT. I really don't know why this happened, but I think the whole thing about religious affiliation is just paranoid. For anybody on the waitlist, you won't have to contend with me. I didn't send them a letter accepting the position on the wait list. Good luck to everyone.

no its not true, creighton does have interviews, they just aren't manditory. u have to call them and request and interview. I wore a turbin to my interview just to test the waters a little.
