best quarters ever: on the beach(ocean side) in malibu, ca 911 provider
worst ever: fresno, ca 911 provider
not bad: ventura, ca 911 provider
better than avg: thousand oaks, ca 911 provider
substandard(but not as bad as fresno): philadelphia, pa critical care transport
I really miss those quarters in malibu. they had a wt room, a large tv, pingpong table and a mexican restaurant next door that gave us free food if we ordered in uniform........of course I was also only making 6.75/hr as a medic then so there had to be some perks......

We post in our trucks, which kinda sucks...
I did a rotation for medic school though at a local EMS company, their place was absolutely awesome. Full kitchen, living room with a huge flat screen TV, sleeping quarters with really nice beds and a seperate locker room. Each EMT/Medic got their own locker filled with their own turnout gear and first-in bag.... I'm tellin ya, some services get everything haha. Where I work, we're lucky to get a truck that has less than 200k miles.

The majority of ours are at fire departments so they're pretty nice. We have 6 that are soley *ours* and they're generally pretty nasty. 😡
Our *home* base is awesome. Kitchen loaded with coffee, hot chocolate, and snack/drink machines, crew lounge with 3 couches, computer room, work-out room, inside bay for ambulances, etc. But you get to the posts that we actually sit at (when we're not in the ambulance) and it's an entirely different story.
