Otherwise, I can't imagine the reason for such a question...it also presumes that you will have a criminal record that needs to be checked...no concerns about that, just if it identifies your race?

i was asking because i identify myself as hispanic but on like undergrad apps and stuff i put caucasian because i am half and half... i was wondering h ow cbc's got info about our race.. and are you srue they do specifiy our race.. since its self identification...

the concern seems to be that adcoms could think she claimed a certain race for an advantage and then the cbc shows that she's not, which i could see as being problematic.

She is entitled to self identify as either caucasian or hispanic.

This is not something she should be concerned about.

The solution: run a CBC on yourself and see what they come up with...
