I went into my residency program because it has a very strong Primary care program. When I first found out I had to do a critical care rotation, I was annoyed...I just wasn't interested. Now that I have completed the critical care rotation, I am in a state of quandary. This rotation was very challenging AND very enjoyable...I can really see myself doing critical care as a career. So, now, I have switched one of my 5 primary care rotations to get some more critical care experience. I am very confused by all of this...I can't be both a primary care pharmacist AND a critical care pharmacist! What am I to do?!?!?

Is anyone else having a change of heart problem like this?

Does anyone have any recommendations or pro and cons for critical care versus primary care???

Thanks!
