Look, I'm not a student or a doctor. Nor am I even sure my question is relevant to this sub-forum. I'm in the military and I was working in my steel shop, an incident resulted in a metal projectile approx. 1cm in diameter entering my neck and severing the right carotid artery and lacerating the right jugular vein. After about 3 days in the hospital (including time spent in the ICU) I was given about a week and a half of convalescent leave (healing time). I was wondering, was that ample enough time given for said injury? Or was it not enough.
