I would like to pursue a career in nursing. Is there any programs that offer a path into nursing for nontraditional majors ( I am engineering)? Also to be considered a CRNA do you just need a masters of nursing ?

I am kind of a noobie to this, so I might sound dumb.

assuming you already have a bs you can do an accelerated 1 yr bsn program.
then you would need to work for a min of 1-2 yrs(depending on the program you want to apply to) in critical care as an rn(the longer the better).
then you would have to do a 2 yr crna masters level program.
you could also look at a career as an AA(anesthesiologist assistant) and skip the rn entirely.
here is some info from one of the AA programs.
