Has anyone used the "Crush Step 1" book as a primary review source for Step 1 studying? I love the way it's organized, and I love the explanations, much more so than First Aid. The problem is, it's not updated every year, and a lot of the time there are big chunks of info that First Aid covers the Crush Step 1 doesn't, and vice versa. It's also not heavily crowd sourced like First Aid is, though I doubt how effective the crowd sourcing really is because once you take the boards it is illegal to talk about the content of the exam (so I bet that most of the people who contribute to First aid haven't actually taken step 1 yet).

So my question is really, can I trust the "Crush Step 1" book for my primary studying. If it was rated in the First Aid review book section, I would trust it a little more, but it's not even mentioned in the "comprehensive review book" section.

I would appreciate feedback from anyone with experience with this book! Thanks.

If you want FA in prose form, use Crush. That's what Goljan says, anyhow. You said yourself that you love if a lot more than FA so use Crush as your go-to and check FA after every chapter to see if there are any gaps.
