Hey guys/gals,
My dad has A-fib. It's been controlled with Solatol, and he also takes an ACE-Inhibitor for HTN called Enapril.
My question is, what's the word on the street regarding interventional procedures for ablating A-fib "loci"?? Is this coming along? I know, up to this point, it's been reserved for those that have NOT responded to antiarrythmics. But, drugs have side effects.
Any thoughts on this matter? Are invterventional techniques becoming more mainstream?
Thanks,
CF
