FA2013 pg 536- says that LH increases and testosterone can be low or normal based on whether its one nut or both nuts descended.. but also says Leydig cells are unaffected by temperature. Any idea why LH increases, if leydig are not affected? UW says LH and testosterone are normal because leydig cells are not affected by the condition. Does LH go up just because FSH went up due to lack of inhibin from dysfunctional Sertoli Cells? Thanks QId 582

Inhibin technically shouldn't affect LH, as it affect the anterior pituitary directly to decrease FSH (not through decreased GnRH). So when inhibin decreases, it shouldn't have an effect on LH, according to FA/BRS.

However this article (http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/11423739) says in bilateral, FSH and LH will both be high, and so does FA.

So to answer your question, 😕😕😕
