Hi,
Stations where you need to examine both abdomen and auscultate lungs/heart, how do you manage draping? First untie the gown and lower it for chest examination, then tie it and pull it up for abdomen? Also do we examine in sitting position, lying down position or chest in sitting and abdomen in lying down position? That's going to take hell lot of time!! Any safe short cuts? Thanks

Uhm, I think there are many different options. I listened to lungs/heart in sitting. I retied the gown. Then I had the pt lie down, made sure their legs were well covered, and asked them to lift their gown.

It didnt take that much time. Very doable in the alotted time.
