Hello SDN,

I am applying to medical school soon and I was wondering how multiple C+ in my biology classes will look to ADCOMS? On my transcript, I have 4 C+, all in biology classes like intro biology I, Genetics, cell structure, and molecular. Otherwise, I have mainly A's in chemistry classes (A few A- in my chemistry classes), but i'm worried that ADCOMS will think that my application is weak due to my weak biology skills. I got A-'s in both my biochemistry courses, so hopefully they will see that I made some improvement to my biology skills. Obviously I know what part of the MCAT I will put more emphasis on. My current GPA is 3.5 if that matters

BAD. This is the one area you need to be the best at.

Is 3.5 your overall GPA? AMCAS will show adcoms two GPAs; overall and BCPM. If your BCPM is less than your overall you may need to take more higher level biology classes and make A's to show you have improved your study habits. Do well on the MCAT (510+).
