Did anyone hear back from CSUN yet? I'm just worried because I saw someone's post that he was already accepted. So, I just want to see how many people have gotten an acceptance letter.

Since today was the deadline to respond for the earlier round of acceptances, and a few more people got acceptances today, it looks like they are doing a few at a time, seeing who responds, and then doing a few more. I know they have already sent out some rejections, because I got one, before they corrected a mistake on my application and then sent me an acceptance. So if you haven't gotten a rejection yet, I think that's a good sign!

Thank you very much!

I called the school today and got the low down. They sent out acceptance letters to the top 32 applicants. So, if you didn't get one you didn't get accepted. They will be notifying the waitlisted people within the next couple of weeks. Like someone else said above, they are sending out notifications of acceptances in waves.

CSUN's PT program is getting harder and harder to get into. For the class entering Fall 2011 (the last MPT class) the average GPA was 3.3/3.4. For the class entering Fall 2012 (the first DPT class) the average GPA was 3.64. Looking around on here at other students who got accepted I'm seeing 3.7 and 3.8. Other than CSULB, CSUN is the only public school PT program in LA making it a more viable option financially compared to the private schools in the same area. Also, they told me the school received 1100 applicants for 32 spots. We'll be notified as spots become available.

"gregbollox" Congrats!!! Are you attending CSUN in the fall? If you get into Chapman as well which would you choose and why? I was accepted to both as well as Western and I'm still debating, but leaning toward CSUN. Thanks!
