Hey everyone! I was just accepted to CU Boulder's post bacc program entering this summer. Anyone else out there headed this direction? It'd be great to hear from you before the program starts!

Congratulations, Wisco Girl! Count me among the members of your cohort. I'm getting pretty excited. In fact, it's pretty hard for me to stay focused on my next 12 weeks of work. Now that I am accepted, I can't wait to get started with my future.

I've applied to Temple, as well. Haven't heard back from them yet. However, it is a relief to know that I will be in a program this summer and the rest is really up to me!

During your telephone interview, were you advised to start reviewing Chemistry on Khan Academy?

Great! They mentioned reviewing before summer, but didn't mention khan. I'll have to check it out. Are you already living in CO? I moved near Boulder last summer for residency.

Yep, I've been in Colorado since December 2010. I'm not close enough to Boulder to commute, though. I plan on searching for places and moving towards the end of April or early May. I think that is the best time to get a lock on a decent place -- seeing as how a lot of people probably move away for the summer.

Since residency is really important to you, I assume that you would like to enroll at UC-Denver's medical school? Me, too! UC-Denver med school would absolutely be my first choice; however, Temple's "guaranteed" admission is pretty attractive as well.

Did you apply to any other programs?

Nope just this one :) And yes Denver is definitely one of my choices. Let me know if you're ever near Denver/Boulder (I live in-between) and we can meet up for lunch or something! And I agree. May should be a good time to move. I plan do a summer sublease and then get more permanent place in the fall, after I get more familiar Boulder's options.

Good day! I am hoping to start this program next Summer. Will be applying here and a handful of other places. How was the program? What type of graduate program were you hoping to get into? I have been working in finance for past handful of years and undergrad degree in same discipline. Let me know your thoughts!
