Hey guys,

I'm just wondering how much figures of cubes are usually in PAT? I noticed in TopScore there are usually 5 figures and each with only 3 questions, I feel like in this case it might just be easier to just do each question individually rather than tallying up all the cubes for each figure before answering each question. Any tips?🙂

Thanks!

I would just count all the cubes. Yea it saves a little time since you dont have to count all of them but it might also make you miss some. If you count all the cubes, you can always tally up your marks to the # of cubes that way you can make sure you didnt miss any.

Yeah just count all the cubes! Here's a video in case you need help.

This is my favorite section because its the only one I can do perfectly so far haha

Yeah, I know this one. My concern is that if there are like 5 or 6 questions per figure, then this method is worth it. But if there are only 2 or 3 questions per figure, then I find it's easier and quick just to search the cubes individually.

The PAT on the DAT has 5 cube counting figures and 3 questions associated with each figure. The cube counting section should have 15 questions in total.

That's almost right, those numbers are just on average. It's possible to have some figures ask 2 questions or 4 questions. In the end, you'll have 15 cube counting questions.

I prefer to count all the cubes to make sure I get the problem right, but if you feel more comfortable counting each one individually and do well in practice, absolutely go for it.

Thanks🙂 Yeah, for a figure that has 4 problems, I would definitely count everything up. But it's for the ones that only has 2 questions but has tons of cubes, I'm more leaning towards asking them individually 🙂
