the answer is B apparently...

Do you get two as well? I counted three.. 😳

and the scribbles on the right side of the picture that I wrote says "the block below this one=1"

how do you know if there is a cube behind the farthest right cube or not? because if there isnt a cube there, then there are only 2

There can't be any hidden cubes unless there MUST be one there in order to support other cubes. Going off that logic, from the far right, there is one hidden cube that is in the second stack from the right (forms a L shaped tetris piece). This hidden cube is surrounded by three sides thus only has one face.
