What are my chances?

I want to add that I had a very strong upward trend in my GPA. Freshman year was a 0.5 GPA, summer that year was 1.5 GPA, and I have brought it up to what it is now.


3.35 cuGPA, 3.50 sGPA
MCAT: 11P, 8V, 10B (29P)

EC's:

• 1.5 Years Undergraduate Research
• 400+ Hours ER Clinical Volunteering
• Pre-Med Society Treasurer 1 Year
• Shadowed 3 physicians, 2 MD, one D.O.
• Strong LOR from the D.O.

I am really wanting to get into either KCUMB or AT STILL, and am sending out my app to Mizzou as well which is probably a long shot. Those are not the only schools, but just a few that I will be applying to.


Do I stand a chance?

🙂 yes absolutely, especially for D.O. I called admissions for MSUCOM and DMU and I have a downward trend with the same stats and they said I should be fine except that they would be checking out my fall grades, whereas for you, they probably would love your upward trend.
