I'm working on my application for UH. I was wondering which gpa should i put? cumulative or adjusted?

Normally, I would put the cumulative GPA if no such designation exists on the application. Just remember that every secondary and/or primary is different so that's why I asked. Filling out applications is all about following directions.:)

Just to be sure, what do you mean by an adjusted GPA?

Contact the school then and ask for clarification.

omni, adjusted would include retakes and freshman forgiveness

well I retook a course and made a higher grade so there is an adjusted gpa on my transcript. Two gpa's, cumulative and adjusted.

You should put cumulative.

UH does not take the higher adjusted grade. They average. A guy I knew didn't get in for that very reason. He had a 4.0 adjusted GPA but like a 3.1 cumulative.

Agreed with previous post. UH does average repeated courses, so putting adjusted gpa would not reflect the gpa they want.
