Hypothetical: You are at an interview for pharmacy school and they bring up SDN and you mention you are familiar with the site and have found many of answers to things on there. Eventually, they get out of you that you post on here and ask what your name is on here. Do you tell them? And none of the "Well I wouldn't be in that situation because I wouldn't have told them I post in the first place"

I don't worry because my posts are clean and either professional or leisure. If they look at my leisure posts, they're no reason for concern. If they look at my serious posts, they are clean. So it doesn't matter who looks at them or why. Not all posters can say this. Of course, the ones who can't are generally the ones that either wouldn't bring SDN up and thus avoid this question, or don't care what people think so it doesn't matter to them anyway.

I'd rather not, or at least I'd rather not tell my last-choice school my screenname as I have said before that they are my last-choice school and why. However, now that I think about it I'd rather tell them my name then say "No, I'm not going to tell you" because then they'll think you're a troll or something. I know my mom reads this board all the time (Hi mom!) and it is read by possible adcom members/future classmates so I certainly don't say anything I won't stand by.

SDN got mentioned in my interview.


They asked me how I knew so much about other schools.So I answered with SDN.


That was the extent of it, they didn't even write it down, so I guess they weren't too concerned with it.
