I've been having some trouble finding good sources with pharmacy news. So I thought we could start a thread and share some, helping all of us out!
(Any help from the pharmD students and pharmacists would be wonderful! 🙂 )

*CA governator Schwarzenegger is proposing a plan to provide all Californians with health insurance, even for those who can't afford it.
*the nasal spray flu vaccine FluMist was just approved in a refrigerated form, allowing for expanded use.
*viable stem cells were extracted from a pregnant woman's amniotic fluid, reopening the stem cell debate in Congress.
*Congress hopes to eliminate the ban on the federal government negotiating with pharm companies for decreased drug prices for those on Medicare.
*Companies nationwide are promoting preventative care health insurance, in hopes of preventing disease and illness before it happens.
