I'm starting radiology in a month and I'm currently unsure what I should be doing to prepare for the start of radiology. I would also be interested in hearing from PGY-2's and beyond to see what the best way to spend this time would be. Is it a waste of time to begin studying actual radiology? Should I be focusing on anatomy? Or should I just try to enjoy the free time I have now and start studying radiology in July? Thanks.

You are so late. If you have not finished Brant and Helms and Felson Chest during your internship 2 times, you will never be able to meet the minimum requirements of your residency and won't be a good radiologist in the future.

This is what some people used to tell us when I was in my internship many years ago. Believe me, whatever you read now is completely useless. Enjoy your time. Don't touch anything radiology.
