Hmm.. I know for some schools they will only allow you to have two classes outstanding. But talk to the schools. For instance, for NYU, I had an outstanding Public Speaking class that I could not find anywhere. I talked to the admissions coordinator and she told me I could use something else, like a leadership role where I spoke to a large group in place of this class.
On the other hand, if you aren't TOTALLY set on going to school this year, I am an advocate of taking your time with your classes, enjoying some real life experience. Just think about how strong your application will be with your awesome grades and then more clinical hours under your belt. Just a thought! If you are set on going to school this year, reach out to the schools you really want to go to and talk to them about your situation. They'll definitely let you know!
