Current standpoint on USC?

Hello everyone! I applied to USC and have heard a bazillion.. yes thats right a bazillion.. things that negate attending USC after i applied. Also, i noticed they are usually about 3 year old comments. Does anyone have current knowledge on the dental program at USC? Has it improved? Have they started to incorporate a hybrid PBL and lecture style program? Is is worth attending? Everyone post and lets figure out if all the hate for this school is real.

Too expensive
PBL style is not effective
Bad rep overall
located in Ghetto neighborhood
