Clinic- One of the best in terms of experience

I did my undergrad at Colorado but am from philly my whole family is here. I am more inclined to practice on the east coast and despite the hype of colorado having such a beautifull school....nobody on the east coast even knows that Colorado has a dental school. I want to know which school will make it easier to specialize, best education etc.

ANY OPINIONS WOULD BE EXTREMELY APPRECEATED ESPECIALLY FROM CURRENT STUDENTS/DENTISTS BEING THAT I HAVE ABOUT A WEEK TO DECIDE.

With cost being equal, it sounds like Colorado is played out for you after doing undergrad there. You know what it is like to live in CO so if you truly want to return to the east then that is what you should do. I think that if you are smart and dedicated you can specialize from anywhere.

With costs being equal, go wherever you will be happiest. People specialize from both schools. And I think it is an advantage to go to dental school near where you want to practice so you can start networking early.

We have a great time here at Colorado: the school's beautiful and the sun and snow is a nice treat. A lot of the people out east don't know Colorado because they could never imagine living anywhere that was more than 100 miles away from an ocean, doesn't mean it's a no-name school. But, you know that, and in the end if you want to end up working on the East Coast I think you should go to Temple. You have two great schools to choose from, so just pick where you'd rather live and work. Yeah, you can specialize from anywhere, so don't worry about that. I can already feel the web of contacts forming and I'm in my first year. If you go to Temple it will just be that much easier to find a job after graduation. There's also a greater concentration of places to go for specialties nearby, so if you get in chances are you won't have to move yourself 1000+ miles to be somewhere. Good luck and feel free to message me if you have more questions about CO!
