I'm taking the EMT-B course and part of the curriculum is a paper on anything EMS related. I was hoping to do a paper on something interesting and unique, but with enough information to write a decent research paper. I don't really have any direction. I was hoping some of you guys could point me in the direction of a topic in EMS that is worth researching.

How about the OPALS studies evaluating ALS interventions?

How about rapid sequence induction and how the San Diego trials showed it was detrimental to patient outcome?

How about the LA pediatric intubation studies by Gausche, et al?

I have seen some recent articles on this in some journals...so go to

www.pubmed.org and do a literature search on whatever topic you decide
