Can any UCSD Pharm students tell me about their experiences? I want to know the insiders' perspective on the school's curriculum, faculty members, etc. Any comments will be appreciated.

Same here, since this school's brand new, I don't know if it's worth going. How's the faculty and "alumni networking" (if there's any)?

I'm not a Pharm student, but I work in the medical department at UCSD. From the little bit that I know...

A couple of the courses are shared with the medical school. For example- gross anatomy. You'll be in the same class as the medical students, making things pretty crowded and competitive (more so than usual). While this will change in the future, it hasn't changed yet. Faculty members are actually pretty solid and know their stuff (couldn't tell you about personality though). Don't think there's any alumni relationships to be spoken of yet. That's about all the insight I've got. Obviously you'll get better insight from current student's, but I thought I'd help get the ball rolling.
