Currently Shadowing/Volunteering

Hi there,

I'm currently shadowing/volunteering at an independent pharmacy. When I came in to ask to do it, I asked if they would allow me to shadow or volunteer (I wanted to be flexible since I'm at their mercy). I'm mostly helping them with inventory (counting pills). The pharmacist is also explaining to me her policies and daily duties (entering it into the state system, double checking background, calling doctors for C2s, etc) and what needs to be done before they can give the patient the prescription. For resume or application purposes should I call this volunteering or shadowing? Thanks!

Strictly as an opinion... Shadowing is passive, volunteering is actually touching stuff. So I'd call it volunteering.

That sounds like shadowing to me.

Is this your only pharmacy experience? I would call it volunteering if so. If you have other pharmacy experience I would call it shadowing.
