If I decide to include a list of my clinical rotations in my CV, do I need a brief description of my activities/responsibilities during each rotation? My problem with this is that I will send out my CV before the completion of my rotations, so there will be inconsistencies because some rotations will have these responsibilities listed while others do not.
Also, is a brief description necessary for all jobs held, even if it's simply volunteer work?

thanks

You need to account for all the time since leaving school. If we saw gaps on an applicants CV, might mean they were in prison!.

Try to avoid excessive detail, just main responsibilities for each job.
Ie I was in marketing, main responsibility was making a profit.

I did not put rotation descriptions because I thought it would get redundant.

I put job descriptions soley because I had some interesting ones prior to my pharmacy life. The impression I got was unless you did something cool and different, a pharmacy intern does pretty much the same thing everywhere

Seconded.

Nothing is more annoying than receiving an 8-page CV where half of it is copy-pasted and identical.

List your rotations in bulk. When, if you did interesting presentation/projects during one or more of your rotations, list those in the "projects" section. For jobs, keep it short and simple, unless it is something unusual. No need to have 20 bullet points for a retail pharmacy intern position.
